This past weekend turned into a decent soccer weekend for me. Unlike the one before it that showcased United's loss to Chelsea in the Community Shield and the Sounders mental lapse v. Real Salt Lake.

Goals in the 90th minute.

Give me two Vidic and no Ferdinand on the backline and I would breathe easier each and every game.  Not only does he save United's asses on the backline but now he's doing it up front as well.

In a cosmic turn of events I was able to catch two-thirds of Manchester United v. Portsmouth today instead of working.
